my g1 freezes every time i press the home key. anyone know how to fix this?
my t-mobile g1 phone will freeze every time i press the home key, it’ll first go to a black screen, then it’ll only show my wallpaper and none of the icons! it gets really annoying. does anyone know how to fix this?
i had a W850i that turned off when i went on to my contacts however it was a software fault so i was told by the shop owner
mine turned to a black screen then white and start up as normal, then maybe repeat it it is very annoying yes

What You Can Pick From This Year’S Mwc
This year’s Mobile World Congress had some great pieces on display. The best in the business congregated at Barcelona to dish out some really unique handsets that’d tempt most gizmo fans. Let’s take a look at the best three picks.
1. Samsung Blue Earth- Revolving around the sun
It’s easy to guess. This is a solar powered cell phone that’s supposed to give us at least three minute’s talktime with 10 minutes under the sun. It’s yet another of Samsung’s efforts towards being eco-friendly. It’s also designed to lure people with an aesthetic eye. The phone looks good enough to become a mobile wallpaper. Even LG had one on display, but not many details were disclosed. Wishing the best for this new concept phone.
2. HTC Magic- Google’s second creation
At last the wait for an android phone has come to an end. Vodafone disclosed this piece, a promising successor to T-Mobile G1. It’s got a very responsive touchscreen and looks a lot better than its predecessor. This creation has Google’s open source operating system that made waves last year. Vodafone has the exclusive rights to this version. UK consumers may get to see it sooner than Americans.
3. Sony Ericson’s ‘The Idou’
Idou as in ‘I Do’ entices us to commit and give in to its fabulous features. The touchscreen works magic under our fingertips and the interface is quite flamboyant. But the best part has to be its 12-megapixel camera. That kind of image resolution surpasses even an authentic digital camera. We’ve got to wait and watch if the clarity is as good though. For now, Sony’s created quite a buzz with Idou.
Till these news-making specimens are out in the market, you can entertain yourself by downloading some funny ringtones. No one’s really sure how long the wait’s gonna be.
