iphone 3gs screen stays black but everything works PLZ HELP!!!!!?
I was trying to turn off the voice over by following the instructions on the iphone web-site(should have done it through Itunes)
halfway through doing it the screen went blank and now even when I reset it by holding the Power/Home button the screen will appear showing my wallpaper and slide to unlock button but it will turn off right away.
it wont even register on itunes anymore either.
what do I do now?
I have’nt even had this thing for a week yet : /
You can send it in to apple. But you do now have a mother board issue. If you can get it to connect ot itunes try restoring it.

The New iOS4 update will not give me all the features on my ipod touch?
I have an iphone 3g with 8gb of memory. and i know for a fact its a 3g because when i bought at bestbuy on may it said newest model next to it. apple.com says multitasking and wallpaper works on 3gs and 2gs. so why doesnt it work on mine.
That is because all the features will only work on the iphone 3GS or newer and ipod touch 3rd gen or newer ones to come! This link explains it more.
