My 3g 3.0 iPhone wallpaper WILL NOT change!?
I’ve had this same wallpaper since i had 2 different phones, and for some reason i cant get it off. I did jailbreak it and put it there, but im not sure if that’s the reason why it is there? Do i need to jailbreak it again to get it off?
Restore and if that doesn’t work, then you have to jailbreak it again and remove it that way.

Will jailbreaking an iPod touch 2g to multitask and change wallpapers affect battery life a lot?
As you probably know iOS4 came out but for iPod touch 2g and iPhone 3g it cannot multitask or change the home screen wallpaper because “the hardware cant support it”. I know it wouldnt be able to multitask normally but i was just planning on running maybe 2 things at once every once in a while like the app store then go check something in safari and then come back to the app store. Also i dont see why changing the home screen wallpaper is disabled. When i had mine jailbroken i had a home screen wallpaper and it didnt affect anything.
When I jailbroke my iPod touch 3rd gen (32gb) on 3.1.3, I saw definite performance decreases, and a little less battery but not significantly yes. The ios 4 hardware in the iPod touch 2g and iPhone 3g is just a sales gimic they want you to go out and buy the new model. If you jailbreak for wallpaper i recommend bosspaper because it doesn’t run in the background when you are running apps, so if you rotate pictures it definitely conserves battery life over winterboard. For multitasking, well backgrounder and proswitcher is the best combination in my opinion as both are free just make sure you tell backgrounder to put every app you open in the background if you want the multitasking to be equivalent, if not better than ios 4. As long as you manage your apps in the background you should be fine. Also try to clean up all packages you dont use everyonce and a while because some apps place themselves as system processes and run in the background without knowing. There’s a $.99 app which you might be able to get cracked called system monitor, which will monitor these processes.
P.s the new jailbreak tool that comes preinstalled with like everything is activator which is used to set how to activate things like proswitcher and sbsettings.
