wallpapers and display properties problem?
When I try to set a picture on my desktop, it’s automatically stretching the picture to fit the entire screen, but I *do not* have this option turned on. It’s really annoying…anyone know why this is happening?
Also, sometimes I’ll change my ‘windows and buttons’ color scheme, turn my computer off, and when I turn it back on it’s back to the standard blue — even though I applied the settings and saved it that way. What on earth is going on? I have XP, btw.
you have it set to stretch its an automatic. next time setting it to center or tile. theres options when you load the image to the desktop background. try using the options menu though instead of right clicking the picture. for windows right click the screen and select personalize(or similar word) then select background then upload your image and select how you want it seen. then hit apply and close the options.

I have windows 2000 Professional, when I start my computer my desktop and toolbars disappear!?
it comes on for about 15 seconds and then goes blank, well not blank but to an old wallpaper. I can’t right click because nothing happens. I also get a bunch of error messages. I’m not sure what on earth I did to the computer but I need to figure out how to fix it. Please don’t tell me to upgrade I can’t afford to right now but I need my computer!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
