Christmas Photos with my digital camera?
This year my boyfriend and I are taking our own Christmas pictures.
We are looking into different backgrounds. I have found a few wallpapers online that I like.
My question is, is there any way to take our pictures and then place the desired background?
Does this make sense?
Yes, I know what you mean, but there are problems with what you want to do. First and foremost is resolution. A wallpaper you fiind online is going to be low resolution. That has nothing to do with size. It may fill your entire monitor, but it will still be low resolution.
The photos you take with your camera will be of a much higher resolution. The two will not work well together.
You certainly do not want to lower the resolution of your camera photos, so you have to raise the resolution on the wallpaper. So you must first be able to save the wallpaper in a folder and open it in an editing program that will let you increase the resolution to match your photos.
Then, you will have to “cut out”, or more properly called select yourselves out of your photos and drop into the new background. This is not easy to do without experience and skill with a very competent program such as Adobe Photoshop. There is nothing much worse looking than an amateurish looking background replacement. It can be spotted a mile away.
By far the best thing for you to do is get a real background and take photos with that behind you. You can go to a fabric shop and get some green and red material and drape that behind you and you will be amazed at how well it will look. You do not really want anyting very intricate and “busy” looking. The focus of the photo should be YOU, not some distracting background.

Ipod touch question!?
Umm I just got my ipod touch 16gb today, so excited, I love it! But I have one question for those of you who have one and know how to do this. I went into the settings of my ipod to change the wallpaper and was hoping to use one of my fave pics as the background so its not just dull and black but i found my pic and hit the little set background thing and it did nothing. Its still the dull black background.Anyone know how to fix this? And also ar there any games on it like solitar like onthe video ipods? Cuz I haven’t been able to find them. Thanks! God Bless!
